Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care to patients by assessing their unique needs and establishing individual rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, allowing you to devote significant time to each patient, focusing on their specific conditions and challenges.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic care to develop and implement treatment plans that include a range of modalities, such as manual therapy and exercise prescriptions.
• Emphasize cost-effective, non-surgical treatment alternatives that minimize patients' dependence on medications while maximizing healing and recovery.
• Motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, offering support and encouragement that fosters a positive and productive environment.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on their responsiveness to therapy.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, specifically utilizing Web PT to maintain compliance and uphold accountability.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers within our facility to ensure comprehensive patient care and to enhance the overall healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is necessary for this role.
• Possession of a valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no historical sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and a robust understanding of exercise program creation and implementation.
• Capability to effectively utilize EMR software, particularly Web PT, for precise and efficient documentation of patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation focused clinics, particularly in outpatient settings, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
