Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish a strong therapeutic rapport with patients, fostering trust and open communication.

• Utilize clinical expertise to diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health disorders, applying evidence-based practices.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.

• Conduct regular counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families, adapting therapeutic techniques to meet evolving patient needs.

• Perform ongoing assessments of patient progress, providing insights and updates to refine treatment strategies as necessary.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and refer clients to additional specialists to ensure comprehensive care.

• Engage in continual professional development and training to remain current in therapeutic methodologies and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Path Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse client population encompassing individuals and families experiencing various mental health challenges. These may include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance use disorders. The focus on family dynamics allows for holistic treatment approaches that benefit the entire family unit.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active LMFT license in Massachusetts.
\n
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Proficiency in conducting assessments and creating treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and empower clients throughout their therapeutic journey.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective teamwork and patient interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience or specialized training in addiction counseling or treatment of co-occurring disorders is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, is an asset.

• Familiarity with using telehealth platforms for conducting virtual therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Path Counseling Center offers a competitive benefits package, which includes:
