Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, culturally informed mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs. Utilize evidence-based techniques to create personalized treatment plans tailoring interventions to the individual client's background and experiences.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a variety of mental health issues, fostering resilience, and promoting emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic support and care for clients.

• Respond promptly to mental health crises, offering vital intervention and support to clients in need.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ communities, and immigrant populations who may face unique barriers to accessing mental health care. Your expertise will directly support these populations in overcoming challenges such as stigma, cultural misunderstandings, and socioeconomic factors.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licenses as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Oregon.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment strategies, and an ability to approach therapy through a cultural lens.

• Proven experience in conducting both individual and group therapy, employing culturally responsive methodologies.
