Role Description The Personal Lines Account Manager is a full-time, on-site or Hybrid role based in Darien, IL. This role manages a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, handling policy servicing, coverage changes, renewals, and billing inquiries. The Personal Lines Account Manager responds to client questions by phone, email, and in person, providing clear guidance on coverage options and ensuring a positive customer experience. Daily responsibilities include reviewing policies for accuracy, processing endorsements, preparing quotes, and assisting with claims reporting and follow-up. The role also collaborates with producers and other team members to support cross-selling opportunities, maintain retention, and uphold compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Account Management and Customer Service to effectively manage client relationships and provide responsive support. Candidates should possess skills in Personal Insurance and Insurance to analyze coverage needs, interpret policy language, and recommend appropriate solutions. Relevant skills such as strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational abilities to handle multiple accounts and deadlines. Ability to work in a Hybrid role on-site in Darien, IL, collaborating with a team in a professional office environment. Prior experience in an insurance agency or brokerage, especially in personal lines, is highly beneficial. Proficiency with Applied Epic Agency Management System and standard office software; willingness to learn carrier-specific platforms.
