Customer Service Representative - Automotive

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for answering and providing excellent customer service to our customer base. Hays North Nashville collision is looking for a friendly, eager new team member to join our growing team as a Customer Service Representative. Responsibilities include dealing directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face, greeting and assisting customers and potential customers, working with a variety of insurance providers, answering phones, emails, and all inquiries, handling payments and transactions, responding promptly to customer inquiries, handling and resolving customer complaints, obtaining and evaluating all relevant information to handle inquiries and complaints, processing orders, credits and requests, directing requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource, keeping records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, comments and complaints, recording details of actions taken, communicating and coordinating with internal departments, following up on customer interactions, and performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements include the ability to work 7:30-5:00 Monday-Friday, customer service experience preferred but not required, good communication and people skills, strong computer skills, bodyshop or automotive knowledge preferred but not necessary, strong work ethic and ability to work with a team, demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding goals, a 4 year degree preferred but not necessary, knowledge of automotive parts or automotive industry preferred, experience in call center customer service, and occasional heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required.
