Details Work in the Surgery unit of a hospital setting Day shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM Rotating call requirements Rotating weekend and holiday shifts May float to other affiliated hospital locations within the health system Uses Epic charting system Requirements Active IL RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted) Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience ASN required, BSN preferred Epic EMR charting experience required Additional Information Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process across a designated patient assignment Complete initial patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care Implement and modify nursing interventions based on ongoing patient evaluation Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation for care coordination Report and correct safety hazards to ensure patient and employee safety Participate in professional development and departmental competency requirements Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered RTO limited to no more than 7 total days per 13-week contract Workers may not remain continuously on assignment within the health system for more than 1 year without a 6-month break in service American Traveler Job ID P-746057.
