Senior Accountant/CPA

Primary Arms is seeking an experienced CPA to join our Accounting team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the accounting process, solving complex financial challenges, and partnering with leadership to support business growth. You'll play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, tax support, and process improvements while working alongside a collaborative finance team in a fast-paced retail and distribution environment. What You'll Do Lead month-end and year-end close activities Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger Assist with monthly and quarterly financial statements Perform account reconciliations and financial analysis Track and maintain fixed assets and depreciation Prepare lease accounting, accruals, and prepaid schedules Support business tax compliance and external audits Research and resolve accounting discrepancies Partner with cross-functional teams across Finance and Operations Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting What We're Looking For Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience using NetSuite Preferred Retail or distribution experience Inventory accounting What Makes You Successful Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines Comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams Strong communication and organizational skills Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
