Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and couples therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment to address personal, relational, and familial challenges.
• Provide comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of clients, evaluating underlying issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, and family conflicts.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that integrate the participation of all family members to ensure holistic healing and communication improvement.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to facilitate therapy, focusing on enhancing coping strategies, emotional regulation, and interpersonal relationships.
• Document therapy sessions and manage client records in compliance with state regulations and best practices in behavioral health management.
• Coordinate care with other health professionals and community resources to support client goals and facilitate direct referrals as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele ranges widely, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various life challenges, such as adjusting to divorce or separation, dealing with job-related stress, and overcoming communication barriers within families. The ideal candidate is equipped to work with a diverse population and demonstrate empathy and respect for individual circumstances.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid and active California license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Proven ability to engage effectively with clients from various backgrounds and to build rapport rapidly.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in mental healthcare settings.
• Experience in working with families facing blended family dynamics and systemic issues.
• Knowledge of teletherapy practices and comfort employing technology in therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $120,000 – $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
