Learning Consultant

Partner with business leaders to design impactful learning solutions Conduct needs analysis and evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions Lead Learning & Development initiatives involving multiple associates Manage small- to medium-sized projects, markets, or initiatives Partner on clients on project charters, scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budgets, and timing Track and report project milestones Manage project scope and ensure changes are documented and approved Determine whether external consultants or contractors are needed Assist in recruiting and managing vendor resources Apply human performance improvement principles to improve business performance Consult with business unit management and Learning & Development management Conduct training or develop instructional and reference content as needed Develop working relationships with internal and external team members Requirements BA/BS degree in business, education, instructional design, or another learning discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 5 years of experience Minimum of 3 years of project management experience 3+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Organizational Development, or Human Performance Improvement strongly preferred Experience leading cross-functional learning initiatives and managing multiple concurrent projects Ability to manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations Experience defining project objectives, success metrics, deliverables, and resource requirements with business leaders Consulting and relationship management skills Experience developing and delivering instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and self-paced learning solutions Working knowledge of adult learning theory Knowledge of instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE or SAM Knowledge of learning evaluation models such as Kirkpatrick Experience managing external vendors, consultants, and contract resources Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment Experience supporting enterprise-wide change management or organizational transformation initiatives preferred Experience in healthcare, health insurance, or other highly regulated industries preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Learning & Development, Project Management, and Instructional Design methodologies, with a strong focus on developing impactful learning solutions and managing cross-functional initiatives.
