Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience. Our telehealth model is designed to meet the needs of our patients effectively while accommodating the work-life balance for our team members. You will conduct sessions via secure virtual platforms, making therapy accessible to clients in various locations. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a structured work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments that evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including frequency and severity, to establish a comprehensive understanding of their mental health needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting realistic goals tailored to individual preferences and situations.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate healing and growth.
• Monitor client progress closely, performing regular adjustments to treatment strategies as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, various treatment options, and self-care practices that support mental wellness.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care, integrating therapeutic encounters with medical insights.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in case consultations and professional development sessions to refine therapeutic skills and stay informed about best practices in the field of mental health.
• Advocate for clients at all times, working to reduce the stigma associated with mental health issues and pursuing better mental health resources for the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily support clients dealing with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will engage with a diverse clientele, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the unique cultural, social, and personal needs of each individual. Your expertise in this area will greatly affect patient outcomes, as you help individuals navigate their mental health challenges effectively.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois is required to practice.
• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based treatments for mood disorders, along with a track record of effective client outcomes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with clients from varied backgrounds, fostering trust and rapport.
• Thorough understanding of psychopharmacology to aid in seamless collaboration with medical professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering CBT and DBT in a telehealth setting or outpatient practice.
• Previous experience working with diverse populations and a solid understanding of cultural competency in mental health care.
• Proven history of successful patient retention and positive feedback regarding therapy effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits
