Licensed Mental Health Therapist - Remote (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW)

Position Overview

Carmelite Behavioral Health Center is seeking dedicated and experienced Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. In this remote role, you will play a critical part in delivering compassionate, evidence-based therapy to individuals at various stages of their mental health journey. This position offers the potential to earn an annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, depending on your experience and caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to understand the individual needs of each client.
• Develop and implement targeted treatment plans that lay out therapeutic goals tailored to the client’s unique experiences and challenges.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Continuously monitor client progress and adapt therapeutic techniques as necessary to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to ensure you remain current with best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. As our clients come from various backgrounds, you will engage clients from different demographics, ensuring that therapy is culturally sensitive and effective. Teletherapy services will also be offered to enhance accessibility, particularly for clients facing mobility or scheduling challenges.

Qualifications

• A current and valid state license as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering an environment of trust and respect with clients.
• Ability to exhibit empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients in varied situations.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities to efficiently handle a busy caseload while maintaining quality of care.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates who have a background in a community health clinic setting, where they gained experience working with a diverse patient population. Previous hands-on experience delivering teletherapy will be considered an asset.
