Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical condition and history to create tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver individualized care that addresses the unique needs and objectives of each patient, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.
• Manage a reasonable patient load to provide undivided attention and quality treatment to each individual.
• Utilize effective and cost-efficient treatment approaches aimed at enhancing clients' mobility and functional capabilities.
• Advocate for non-surgical treatment options, emphasizing healthy rehabilitation alternatives over reliance on medications.
• Design and implement holistic care strategies that incorporate diverse therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Customize wellness and fitness programs that align with each patient's specific health goals and capabilities.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of treatment sessions and patient progress using EMR software, especially WebPT.
• Motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, reinforcing a positive attitude towards recovery and health improvement.
• Continuously collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that promotes overall patient well-being.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure continual patient progress and satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient clinic serves a diverse range of clients, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals undergoing rehabilitation from surgeries, and patients managing chronic conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a key role in helping these individuals regain their independence and achieve their personal health objectives.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of New York, with a clean history free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional skills in various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Outstanding aptitude for developing and executing effective exercise programs that promote recovery.
• Strong fluency in EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to ensure accurate clinical documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy practices, emphasizing evidence-based methodologies and innovative approaches.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly in sports rehabilitation or orthopedic care.
• Demonstrated proficiency in patient assessment and intervention strategies, ideally with a strong track record of uplifting patient mobility.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
