Klarity Health Consultation and Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Rochester, New York. Work Environment

This role is situated within our onsite rehabilitation center, where collaboration with fellow healthcare providers is a central component of our approach. The facility is designed to optimize patient experience and supports a workforce dedicated to promoting healing and recovery. As a key member of a team that includes two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will work primarily Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., creating a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations to identify treatment goals and tailor therapy plans that meet individual needs.
• Manage and treat one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused attention and comprehensive care.
• Design and implement evidence-based rehabilitation programs that enhance patients' mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
• Utilize diverse treatment modalities and manual therapy techniques to improve functional outcomes while minimizing reliance on medications and invasive procedures.
• Provide regular progress assessments and adapt treatment plans based on individual recovery trajectories.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment regimens accurately in our electronic medical record system, utilizing platforms like WebPT.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, consulting with physicians and other specialists to optimize patient care and improve outcomes.
• Encourage patients through motivational coaching, fostering their active participation in their recovery journey.
• Continuously assess and promote a healthy lifestyle by integrating wellness programs focused on fitness and rehabilitation.
• Maintain compliance with professional standards, including adhering to legislative and regulatory guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve primarily possess private medical insurance, and your work will focus on providing rehabilitation for those recovering from orthopedic procedures, injuries, and chronic conditions. Your ability to create personalized care plans will be crucial in helping diverse populations regain their functional independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or board actions against your license.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and effective exercise regimen development.
• Experience navigating electronic medical record platforms, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrable success in developing rehabilitation strategies that yield improved patient outcomes.
• Experience in conducting wellness programs that address lifestyle modification and preventive care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
