With a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot facility, our team operates in a friendly and professional atmosphere, making patient well-being the foremost priority.

Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite, meaning you will be engaged directly with patients at our comprehensive rehabilitation facility. Our team is composed of experienced professionals, including two skilled physical therapists and a certified physical therapy assistant (PTA), all working together to foster an encouraging environment where patients feel empowered in their recovery journeys. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a consistent routine to support work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to effectively identify each patient's physical challenges and therapeutic needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and exercise protocols, ensuring they align with patient objectives.
• Manage a steady caseload, typically one patient at a time per hour, providing focused attention to each individual.
• Utilize hands-on manual therapy techniques to enhance the patient's recovery process and improve mobility.
• Track and analyze patient progress, evaluating treatment outcomes using established metrics.
• Document all therapy services rendered in accordance with clinic protocols and compliance standards, utilizing WebPT EMR Software efficiently.
• Encourage patients to engage in their care actively, motivating them to embrace lifestyle changes that support their recovery.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective problem solving.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Fore Front Ortho Care Clinic, we primarily serve a diverse clientele with private medical insurance, offering rehabilitation to those with orthopedic conditions. Our patients range from athletes recovering from sports injuries to adults with chronic pain or mobility impairments. Each treatment plan is tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual, emphasizing preventative care and functional enhancement.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid New York State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques, demonstrating clinical expertise in assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions.
• Exceptional communication skills combined with a commitment to providing evidence-based care.

Preferred Experience

• Practical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, particularly in a sports medicine environment.
• Acquired knowledge of WebPT EMR Software or similar electronic medical record systems for efficient patient documentation and scheduling.

Compensation and Benefits
