This full-time position allows you to conduct therapy sessions remotely, offering flexibility while making a profound impact in the lives of children and families across San Francisco, California, and beyond. Work Environment\n

This role operates entirely within a telehealth framework, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home while ensuring a seamless delivery of therapy services. You’ll engage in individual and group sessions, utilizing various online platforms to facilitate therapy. The remote setting fosters flexibility, making it easier to meet with families during after-school hours while accommodating personal and professional needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, focusing on the emotional and behavioral needs of clients.

• Implement evidence-based strategies to address a range of challenges, including anger management, social skills development, and reducing high-risk behaviors such as self-injury and aggression.

• Work collaboratively with the Child Family Treatment Team to create integrated treatment plans, ensuring the well-being of children and their families.
\n
• Submit accurate and timely documentation of each session, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
\n
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and develop recommendations for ongoing care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with children aged 3-20 who experience developmental and intellectual disabilities. This includes children facing behavioral challenges and those requiring additional support as they navigate various life stages. By tailoring your approach to each child’s unique needs, you will play a vital role in fostering positive growth and improving outcomes for these families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
\n
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license within the state of California.
\n
• Availability for at least 5-10 hours per week, ideally during after-school hours (4-7 pm) with the possibility of weekend hours.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for potential in-home visits if required.
\n
• Completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing positive behavior interventions and support strategies.
\n
• Previous work with children and adolescents who have developmental and intellectual disabilities, enhancing your ability to connect and provide effective support.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems that facilitate remote therapy delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
