Business Development Representative

Develop and manage a commercial and industrial pipeline across the assigned New Jersey territory. Prospect, qualify, and close energy-efficiency projects with C&I customers. Progress opportunities through a defined multi-stage sales process in Salesforce/eTrac. Refer residential opportunities encountered in the field into the appropriate residential program pathways. Oversee the performance of vendors contracted to deliver program services. Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to deliver program services and resolve business issues. Develop and maintain program processes, providing oversight for business controls, process improvement, and compliance. Monitor program Key Performance Indicators to ensure program delivery meets business plan expectations and regulatory requirements. Serve as a company advocate across the territory, building relationships with community, municipal, and trade-association partners. Assist with special projects as necessary. Degree in Management, Engineering, or Business and minimum 5 years of experience in energy efficiency programs and business development, or in lieu of a degree, minimum 9 years of experience in the same field. Experience managing vendor performance and leading cross-functional teams. Experience in Business/Customer Relationship Development. Valid US driver's license. Preferred Skills Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification. MBA or Advanced Degree. #J-18808-Ljbffr
