Senior Property Accountant

New York City Metropolitan Area (Hybrid) $100 - $125K + Bonus Hybrid | Full-Time Position Overview HireIQ are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Senior Property Accountant to join our client team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate accounting and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Generate financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, for investor and lender review Maintain accurate and timely financial records for various properties Month-end and year-end closing processes Conduct monthly general ledger reconciliations Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure proper recording of invoices and receivables Manage accounts receivable and intercompany billings as needed Prepare and support annual 1099 reporting with the AP team Oversee general ledger activities and ensure timely beneficial ownership reporting Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Work cross-functionally with departments to gather financial data Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Strong expertise in financial statement preparation, journal entries, and financial reporting Solid understanding of real estate accounting principles Proficiency in Yardi (essential) Click apply or reach out to Kenton Bell for more details. #J-18808-Ljbffr
