As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Site Surveys in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will interact professionally with staff, visitors, and community members while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government shelter location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entry points, common areas, surrounding grounds, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited activity.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations or concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
