Work Environment This full-time position allows therapists to work remotely from the comfort of their homes, providing utmost flexibility in schedules. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental and emotional well-being through discussions that delve into their experiences and concerns. Formulate comprehensive treatment plans by evaluating clients' needs, issues, and therapy goals collaboratively with them. Provide individual therapy sessions tailored to clients aged from teenagers to older adults, and address an array of mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Facilitate couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication, conflict resolution, and enhancing relational dynamics. Regularly review client progress, adjusting treatment plans to reflect their evolving needs, capabilities, and situations. Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, including progress notes and updates to treatment plans within electronic health record systems. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals to devise holistic care approaches integrating mental, emotional, and physical health. Provide crisis intervention when necessary, equipping clients with immediate support during acute distress or emergencies. Engage in continuous learning, staying informed on the latest research developments and therapeutic methods in the field. Advocate for client rights and empower them by providing necessary resources and support as they navigate their mental health needs. Participate in continuous professional development initiatives to strengthen skills and expand therapeutic practices. Promote a secure and confidential virtual therapy environment, ensuring compliance with all ethical and legal standards involved in therapy practices. Encourage clients to adopt self-care strategies and wellness practices vital for their mental health journey. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will engage with a diverse patient population that includes teenagers, adults, and couples from various backgrounds. Our clients come to us seeking support for a range of issues, including interpersonal conflict, life transitions, and mental health disorders. Your therapeutic skills and compassionate approach will be essential in fostering a collaborative environment for clients to explore their challenges and create pathways to healing. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field. Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board of Florida is a prerequisite. Demonstrated experience providing individual and/or couples therapy in various settings. Skilled in timely and accurate completion of assessments, treatment plans, and documentation using electronic health record systems. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, fostering effective interactions with clients and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Preferred Experience Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a spectrum of emotional and behavioral concerns. Previous involvement in community health initiatives or previous remote counseling experience is preferred. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
