You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to passengers, employees, and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $29.93 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe public areas for unusual conditions, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns; report observations through established channels. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public agencies as appropriate. Document daily activities, patrol findings, incidents, and other security-related events in clear and accurate reports. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Baton certification is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
