Registered Nurse | Med Surg | Atlanta, Georgia, US
Take part in a travel temporary assignment starting 09/08/2026 for 13 weeks on a night shift schedule featuring 12-hour shifts in a 2x3 pattern. You’ll earn a weekly pay range of $1,624 to $1,689 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. This assignment is on a high-acuity surgical/trauma unit within a hospital setting. EPIC experience is required, with BLS standard and ACLS preferred. No requested time off (No RTO) is allowed during this assignment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for Med Surg patients on a high-acuity surgical/trauma unit, including trauma cases and post-operative care.
- Monitor patient conditions, assess needs, administer prescribed medications, manage IV therapies, and perform routine nursing procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including ED and admitting units, and complete nurse handoffs at shift changes; document comprehensively in EPIC.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort through careful monitoring, infection control, pain management, and code/rapid response readiness.
- Support ancillary staff and units as needed, including phlebotomy and unit secretary responsibilities at night.
- Communicate clearly with patients and families, ensuring understanding of care plans and discharge processes.

Requirements
- Current RN license in Georgia or eligibility to practice in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg or high-acuity surgical/trauma nursing experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- EPIC/EHR experience required
- Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Ability to work night shift and participate in a 2x3 block schedule; no time-off requests during the assignment
