Accounts Payable (AP) Responsibilities:

• Enter vendor invoices accurately into the accounting system.
• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
• Review invoices for correct amounts, dates, approvals, and coding.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.
• Manage biweekly and ad hoc check runs.
• Send remittance notifications after payments are released.
• Scan, organize, and maintain AP invoice records and supporting documents.
• Follow up on missing invoices, receipts, or approvals as needed.

 

Accounts Receivable (AR) Responsibilities:

• Post daily cash receipts accurately and timely.
• Generate and send customer invoices based on shipping documentation.
• Request and follow up on remittance details for customer payments.
• Perform daily billing and cash posting updates and communicate status to management.
• Assist with customer account inquiries and payment follow-up.

 

General Accounting Responsibilities:

• Review and process employee expense reports and verify supporting documentation.
• Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and month-end support.
• Additional Responsibilities
• Assist with special projects and other assignments as directed by management.
• Support continuous improvement of accounting procedures and workflow efficiency.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

• 2 -3 years of AP, AR, and accounting procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems preferred.
• Accounting Associate's or Bachelors preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business
• Experience with ERP system
• Working experience in a manufacturing environment
