Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LMFT, you will engage with clients through various formats, including couples counseling sessions and individual therapy. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients and developing personalized treatment plans that address their specific challenges.
\n
• Facilitating therapeutic sessions focused on issues such as marital conflicts, grief and loss, family dynamics, and effective communication.
\n
• Utilizing evidenced-based techniques to support clients dealing with trauma, substance abuse, and life transitions, ensuring they acquire coping strategies to enhance their well-being.
\n
• Providing psychoeducation to clients and their families to foster understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.
\n
• Documenting session notes and maintaining up-to-date client records in compliance with regulatory standards.
\n
• Participating in regular team meetings and case conferences to collaborate on client care and ensure integrated treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Valley Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse client population, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will address an array of psychological and relational issues, such as:

• Substance use and abuse.

• Family conflicts or communication difficulties.
\n
• Adaptation issues related to separation and divorce.
\n
• Grief and loss, particularly surrounding family dynamics.

• Adjustment to blended family situations and job-related stressors.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• A valid and active LMFT license in the state of Massachusetts.
\n
• A strong foundation in therapeutic techniques and a genuine commitment to patient care.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective engagement with clients and families.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
