Bilingual Therapies is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite position in Emporia, Kansas. This opportunity supports students in Early Childhood and Elementary Intensive Skills programs, including an autism-focused classroom setting. The ideal candidate will have a current Kansas Special Education license and a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Position Details
Full-time position
ASAP start through May 25, 2027
Onsite
Early Childhood and Elementary Intensive Skills caseload
Autism-focused classroom setting
Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction based on individual student needs
Develop and implement appropriate educational strategies and lesson plans
Support students in meeting IEP goals
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
Collaborate with school staff and families to support student success
Qualifications & Experience
Valid Kansas Special Education (SPED) License required
Experience working with students with autism and intensive support needs preferred
Experience in an early childhood or elementary school setting preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Work Hours & Industry
Full-time
Monday–Friday, school-day schedule
School-based / Education setting
Onsite assignment
