Executive Chef

Metairie, LA

BARCAR is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the culinary program for a cocktail-forward neighborhood restaurant in Metairie.

The menu is centered around elevated bar food, fresh seafood, raw bar offerings, handmade pastas, shareable plates, creative sandwiches, and seasonal features designed to pair with an outstanding cocktail program.

This position requires a hands-on leader with an all-in mentality. Success in this role means leading the kitchen, maintaining high standards, managing food and labor costs, developing menus, training staff, and stepping into any role necessary to support the team. No task is beneath anyone, and every day is different.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, values consistency, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in building a strong team and an exceptional guest experience.
