About the Role
Infinite Ranges is seeking a Cloud Foundry & Azure VMware Solution (AVS) Consultant to support a customer modernization initiative focused on migrating VMware infrastructure to Azure VMware Solution while establishing operational best practices for Cloud Foundry deployments.
This is a short-term, part-time remote consulting engagement requiring a hands-on VMware and cloud modernization expert who can provide technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer throughout the migration effort.
The consultant will work directly with customer stakeholders to assess the current environment, support migration planning and execution, align Cloud Foundry deployments across environments, and help establish operational standards for long-term success.

What You Will Be Doing

• Assist with the migration of on-premises VMware clusters into Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
• Assess existing VMware environments and provide recommendations for migration readiness and best practices
• Support Cloud Foundry deployment, configuration, and operational alignment between on-premises and AVS environments
• Establish Cloud Foundry baseline architecture, operational processes, and deployment standards
• Provide guidance on VMware licensing considerations and transition planning related to AVS
• Create technical documentation, migration artifacts, and operational runbooks
• Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and training to customer teams
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders throughout the engagement
• Identify risks, dependencies, and optimization opportunities across the migration and modernization effort

What We Want To See

• Hands-on experience with Cloud Foundry administration, deployment, or platform operations
• Experience designing or executing Azure VMware Solution (AVS) migrations
• Strong understanding of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and VMware infrastructure
• Experience migrating on-premises VMware environments to public cloud platforms
• Ability to create clear technical documentation and deliver effective knowledge transfer
• Strong consulting and customer-facing communication skills
