We’re a powerhouse in R&D innovation, the home of Teledyne’s Central Research Laboratory, and the world’s leading provider of infrared sensors, with over 60 years of tech evolution and customers like NASA, ESA, and the U.S. Department of Defense.What You’ll Do:Support revenue recognition, internal controls, and management reporting in compliance with GAAP and corporate policiesAnalyze inventory usage and purchasing variances; partner closely with Operations to identify root causesReconcile inventory subledger to the general ledger and recommend COGS adjustments as neededPrepare period cost reserves, excess & obsolete (E&O) analyses, and related journal entriesPerform monthly account reconciliations and prepare quarterly financial variance explanationsLead and participate in quarterly and annual audits, tax packs, surveys, and physical inventory countsContribute to special projects focused on process improvement, efficiency, and profitabilityWhat You Need:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field10+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation and analysisExperience with inventory accounting, cost accounting, and internal controlsFamiliarity with government contract compliance, FAR, and CAS regulations (preferred)Experience with Deltek Costpoint, TM1, and OneStream (a plus)U.S. Citizenship required due to facility access and work restrictionsWhat We Offer:Competitive Salary & Benefits PackageHealth, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance from Day 1Paid Vacation, Sick Time, and Holidays401(k) with Company MatchEmployee Stock Purchase PlanEducational Tuition ReimbursementFun Employee Events throughout the yearWhy Teledyne?Our innovations are “Everywhere You Look” — from the James Webb Space Telescope to atomic clocks.
