About the Role:
A payroll services firm supporting nearly 400 clients on UKG software is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day business operations, team performance, and process development across all departments. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on building structure, improving systems, and driving accountability across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a high-energy operational leader who thrives in fast-paced environments. They are independent, decisive, and experienced in building scalable systems, stabilizing teams, and improving overall organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations across payroll, implementation, client success, support, and finance
• Build and improve scalable systems, workflows, SOPs, and KPIs
• Lead, mentor, and stabilize teams while reducing turnover
• Partner with leadership on hiring and managing key operational roles
• Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across a large client base
• Drive operational performance, accountability, and execution across departments

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of operational leadership experience (Director of Operations, Operations Manager, or similar)
• Experience in payroll, HR tech, SaaS, or professional services preferred
• Strong ability to build systems and lead cross-functional teams
• High-energy, decisive, and independent leadership style
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments
