Salary Range: $51,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Grand Rapids that are seeking Bookkeepers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
• Process accounts payable, ensuring timely vendor payments.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collection efforts.
• Prepare and post journal entries for various financial transactions.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
