Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Supervisor – [Bilingual English /Spanish]

Location: Humble, TX 77396
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to $90,000 / year (Depending on Experience)

Schedule: 12 hour shift,  Monday to Friday

Job Summary

We are seeking a Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to lead daily logistics and warehouse operations for an industrial manufacturing facility. You will manage warehouse operations, oversee  inbound / outbound domestic and international shipments, ensure inventory accuracy, manage a team of warehouse and forklift personnel and maintain safety standards.  

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage and schedule warehouse / forklift personnel.
• Daily Operations: Oversee all loading, unloading, sorting, and staging activities.
• Inventory Control: Verify documentation, resolve discrepancies, conduct cycle counts, and ensure product security
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA standards, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance rules.
• Performance Metrics: Track and report on shipping accuracy, turnaround times, and labor costs.
• Carrier / Logistics Management: Coordinate with freight carriers, couriers and brokers to optimize domestic and international receiving and shipment schedules.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement workflows to reduce waste and boost productivity.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years in manufacturing warehouse operations, with 1+ years in a supervisory role.
• Industry Background:   Experience working in metal production or heavy industrial manufacturing environments is preferred .
• Language :  Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Technical Skills: Understanding of MRP/ERP systems, proficiency with Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is preferred.
• Certifications: Forklift operator certification required  
• Physical Ability: Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Core Competencies: Strong communication skills, team leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, ability to work with limited supervision and time management.

Travel: Possession of a valid passport (or ability to obtain one) and ability to travel internationally for 2- week initial training at company’s home facility is preferred
