Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s history and specific treatment needs.

• Develop and customize individualized treatment plans that focus on promoting recovery and building resilience.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to the patient’s unique situation.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients navigate their trauma, learn effective coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each patient’s care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, exhibiting calmness and professionalism in high-pressure situations.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, emphasizing coping mechanisms and available support resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards to support patient care and organizational integrity.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and training activities that reinforce trauma-informed care principles.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in trauma therapy to continually enhance practice standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patients often come from diverse backgrounds and may face complex challenges due to various forms of trauma. Your role will focus on assisting individuals, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders, fostering an environment of trust and understanding as they navigate their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably in trauma-focused modalities.

• Previous experience delivering group and individual therapy in an outpatient setting.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant software applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
