Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a meaningful role as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! Two positions are available—one for Elementary (Grades 1-4, high needs) and one for High School (resource and push-in services)—both located in a welcoming educational environment near Saint Paul, MN. Experience a balanced schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, and Wednesdays until 4:30 pm to accommodate dedicated IEP and due process planning.

What we’re looking for:

• Active Minnesota Special Education license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Proven collaboration and classroom management abilities
• Robust experience with IEP development, due process, and compliance
• Previous caseload management, up to 15 students
• Leadership skills to supervise paraprofessionals
• For Elementary role: experience delivering both direct and indirect SPED services at the 1st-4th grade level, particularly with high-needs students
• For High School role: expertise in resource/push-in services focused on academic and behavioral support

Daily responsibilities include:

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs
• Facilitating direct and indirect special education services tailored to student needs
• Collaborating regularly with students, families, and school teams
• Effectively supervising and guiding paraprofessionals
• Employing strong communication and documentation practices
• Leveraging daily time set aside for IEPs and due process compliance
