Work Environment

This full-time position requires working onsite, providing care directly in the homes of patients. You will be part of an enthusiastic team consisting of two other experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and determine individual goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, ideally one individual per hour, to ensure personalized attention and effective treatment.
• Provide cost-effective therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility while minimizing reliance on medications and recommending non-surgical alternatives where appropriate.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to motivate patients and encourage adherence to treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to evaluate treatment progress and share insights into patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment services accurately, maintaining compliance with health regulations and insurance requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base primarily consists of individuals with private medical insurance, focusing on those who require orthopedic rehabilitation. You will work closely with a diverse demographic, providing tailored support to post-operative patients, those with chronic pain issues, and individuals recovering from sports injuries or other physical impairments. Your personalized approach will be key in guiding patients toward their functional goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Possession of an active California Physical Therapist license without any disciplinary actions.
• Strong background in orthopedic outpatient care, with at least two years of clinical experience.
• Demonstrated skills in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, including WebPT, for efficient record-keeping and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing home health therapy services is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to engage and motivate patients through personalized care.
• Understanding of the latest trends in physical therapy practice and an interest in continued professional growth.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
