We are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled full-time Physical Therapist to join our team at Saddle Mind Rehab & Wellness Center, located in Oakland, California. Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is designed to promote healing and recovery. We prioritize a multidisciplinary approach, collaborating with a team of experienced professionals, including two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), to offer our patients the best possible outcomes. Our center focuses primarily on patients with private medical insurance, allowing us to deliver personalized care tailored to individual needs.

Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our Oakland clinic where you will collaborate closely with a small team to provide therapeutic services. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Our facility is equipped with the latest technologies and tools, ensuring that you have the resources necessary to provide effective treatment while creating a comfortable and motivating environment for your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of rehabilitation techniques, focusing on pain management, mobility improvement, and functional recovery.
• Manage treatment sessions efficiently, typically averaging one patient per hour, ensuring that each patient receives focused and individualized attention.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality interventions and monitor patient progress diligently.
• Document each patient's treatment progress thoroughly and maintain accurate records using EMR software platforms like WebPT.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate patients on exercises, preventive measures, and lifestyle changes to foster their recovery and promote long-term health.
• Actively motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, reinforcing their commitment to physical fitness and rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population at Saddle Mind Rehab & Wellness Center consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, as well as those dealing with chronic pain or mobility challenges. Qualifications

• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher, with preference given to candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Clean professional record with no disciplinary actions affecting licensure.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and proficiency in developing personalized exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
