Position Overview

Firepower Rehab & Therapy Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will deliver high-quality physical therapy services to our patients by assessing their needs and developing tailored treatment plans. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments through standardized range of motion, muscle strength, and functional testing to evaluate the degree of patient impairment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other healthcare providers to create, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans that cater to the specific goals and performance of each patient.
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, modalities like heat and ice, and exercise regimens tailored to each patient's rehabilitation journey.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers in self-care strategies and effective home exercise programs to promote continuous recovery and empower patients outside the clinic.
• Provide consultative support to physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding physical function and treatment recommendations.
• Oversee and guide the activities of non-licensed support staff involved in patient treatment initiatives, ensuring the maintenance of high clinical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, particularly those requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. Our clinic serves individuals from various backgrounds, including athletes, post-surgical patients, and those dealing with chronic pain, allowing you to gain valuable experience across multiple therapeutic scenarios.

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist licensure in the State of California.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in orthopedic physical rehabilitation.
• A clean professional record free from any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Proficient in various manual therapy techniques and rehabilitative exercise protocols.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated success in developing customized exercise regimens that lead to improved patient outcomes.
• Experience collaborating within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to enhance the level of patient care.
