Work Environment

This role will be performed in our modern outpatient clinic, where you will be part of a close-knit team comprised of one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) and two experienced Physical Therapists. Operating onsite allows for immediate collaboration and communication within the team, enhancing patient management and treatment efficacy. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured environment that allows you to focus on patient care without the pressures of a less predictable setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer direct patient care in accordance with prescriptions from referring physicians or other authorized practitioners, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Efficiently utilize assessment techniques to evaluate a patient's condition and design individualized treatment programs that align with established rehabilitation goals.
• Continuously monitor patient tolerance and progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment protocols based on real-time observations.
• Engage in our clinic's emergency protocols to ensure patient safety during sessions, understanding the importance of quick and effective responses.
• Document patient progress meticulously in compliance with clinic policies, contributing to quality improvement initiatives through active participation in chart reviews.
• Engage with patients' families during meetings to discuss treatment plans, progress, and any necessary interventions, fostering a collaborative approach to care.
• Take on additional duties as required while supporting the overall health and wellness initiatives of our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clinic primarily serves individuals with orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Our diverse patient population includes athletes, active adults, and seniors seeking to regain strength and mobility. Your treatment approaches will be tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, ensuring effective, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Ability to construct and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, allowing seamless management of patients' records.

Preferred Experience

While we are open to applicants with varying levels of experience, candidates with a background in sports medicine or previous outpatient rehabilitation settings are especially encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and continuing education opportunities.
