Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals, limitations, and needs, developing tailored treatment plans focused on rehabilitation and improved functionality.
• Manage a caseload effectively, with the aim of providing dedicated attention to one patient per hour, allowing for focused care and monitoring of progress.
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities that promote recovery while minimizing reliance on medications or invasive procedures.
• Design and facilitate individualized fitness and wellness programs that enhance patients' physical capabilities and support overall health goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care, ensuring communication and coordination throughout the patient's journey.
• Motivate and educate patients on their recovery process, supporting their physical and emotional well-being.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly, ensuring adherence to best practices in clinical governance and patient confidentiality.
• Evaluate outcomes and adapt treatment strategies as necessary, continually aiming to maximize recovery and improve patients' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; advanced degrees such as a Master's or Doctorate (DPT) are preferred.
• Must hold a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions by licensure boards.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of customized exercise protocols for diverse patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), particularly WebPT, to support effective patient documentation and treatment tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly valued and contributes positively to patient outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to implement hands-on treatment strategies and evidence-based practices is essential.
• Utilization of motivational interviewing techniques to engage patients and facilitate adherence to treatment plans is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 150,000 to USD 180,000, reflecting the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
