Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments and comprehensive evaluations to formulate personalized counseling strategies for clients.

• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals, families, couples, and groups.

• Employ diverse therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.

• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure cohesive and comprehensive client care.

• Stay informed on advancements in mental health practices through ongoing professional development and workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary client base will be individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. You will play a critical role in facilitating their recovery journey through supportive and strategic therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a relevant field.

• An active, unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in counseling, preferably within a clinical context.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
\n
• A solid understanding of ethical and legal standards pertinent to counseling practice.
\n
• Proficiency in using EMR software and related technologies for clinical documentation.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, substance misuse, trauma-informed care, or couples therapy will be highly regarded.

• Experience in remote therapy or telehealth services is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, depending on experience and caseload.
