This position is fully remote, accommodating licensed professionals from across Florida. Our telehealth model enables counselors to provide accessible mental health services in a flexible setting. Counselors work primarily from home but are fully supported by an integrated electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring efficient administration and communication with clients and team members. Regular team meetings and training sessions are held virtually, fostering connection and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients, identifying their specific emotional and psychological needs.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions focused on coping strategies for issues such as grief, loss, and stressors related to aging.

• Provide education and strategies to family members and caregivers, enhancing their understanding of the mental health needs of seniors.

• Facilitate grief counseling for residents and their families, helping them navigate the complex emotions associated with end-of-life issues.

• Document all sessions accurately in our EHR system to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on elderly clients who are facing various emotional challenges, particularly those undergoing significant life transitions, such as retirement, bereavement, or chronic illness. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.

• Must be eligible for licensure in the state of Florida and possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.

Compensation and Benefits\n
