Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients suffering from mood disorders, including evaluating the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to implement effective interventions.

• Educate and support clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, regularly updating and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care and optimize client outcomes.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment to continuously improve therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development sessions to further enhance clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients' rights and mental health needs, working to combat stigma and create a supportive therapeutic environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Providence Mental Health serves a diverse population, including individuals from various socioeconomic backgrounds and those facing challenges such as homelessness, refugee status, or a history of trauma. Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
