Key Responsibilities\n

As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, your role involves a comprehensive set of responsibilities aimed at fostering positive patient outcomes. Your daily activities will include:

• Engaging collaboratively with clients and their family members to evaluate behavioral changes and treatment efficacy.

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify the root causes of clients' issues, which will guide the development of effective treatment plans.

• Providing appropriate referrals to psychiatrists, APRNs, or substance use disorder specialists when further assessments are required.
\n
• Offering practical solutions and interventions for individuals struggling with issues such as low self-esteem, family conflicts, addiction, and suicidal ideation.

• Maintaining meticulous records of client interactions, analyzing data to refine and personalize treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve assisting a diverse clientele seeking support for various mental health challenges, including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, substance abuse disorders, and those needing family therapy. Our clients come from various walks of life, each with unique needs that require an individualized approach. By delivering culturally competent care through telehealth, you will help clients feel supported in a safe, accessible environment.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess strong qualifications to ensure the highest standard of care:

• A validated history with no Medical Malpractice Claims.
\n
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
\n
• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Holding any of the following active licenses: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, previous experience in telehealth counseling, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and specific training in trauma-informed care or substance use intervention would be advantageous. Experience working with different cultural backgrounds and understanding the nuances of community mental health would further enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
