Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Listen and Resolve Counseling Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for clients to understand their unique mental health challenges and needs.

• Developing, implementing, and regularly monitoring individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s situation.
\n
• Facilitating the full client intake process, addressing any immediate concerns, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
\n
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to discuss client progress and refine treatment strategies.
\n
• Identifying negative behaviors and patterns in clients through insightful questioning and observational techniques.
\n
• Supporting clients in overcoming addiction by developing coping strategies and addressing harmful behaviors.
\n
• Documenting client progress meticulously through charting to maintain a clear record of therapeutic interventions and outcomes.
\n
• Administering random drug tests and analyzing results to inform treatment plans as needed.
\n
• Leading individual, group, and family therapy sessions, creating a safe and therapeutic environment for all participants.

• Maintaining professional relationships with clients, their families, and fellow staff members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Active and valid social work license as required by state regulations (LPC, LMFT, LICSW).

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified through a third-party background check.
\n
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
\n
• Strong professionalism in interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.

• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating effective communication even under pressure.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, to ensure clear communication with clients.
\n
• Good physical and mental health, enabling you to perform your duties effectively.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in telehealth counseling or working within a remote setting would be beneficial, along with familiarity in using electronic health record systems. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience addressing addiction or trauma-related behaviors in clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
