Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients presenting with various mood disorders, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that are responsive to the specific needs, goals, and preferences of each client.

• Utilize established evidence-based therapeutic methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to achieve optimal client outcomes.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders and available treatment options, fostering a better understanding of self-care practices.

• Monitor client progress through regular assessments, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure ongoing effectiveness.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure coordinated and integrated care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression and anxiety, along with their families. Qualifications\n

• Active and valid LMFT license in the state of New York.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
