K12 Sales Director

About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced and passionate

Sales Director

to lead and drive opportunities in the B2B EdTech market for K-12 education. In this high-impact role, you’ll develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. You will also build and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with key decision‑makers in schools and districts and effectively communicate our value proposition through proposals and presentations.

What You’ll Do

Lead Growth in K-12:

Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve annual sales targets and expand our customer base within the assigned territory

Build High-Impact Relationships:

Cultivate trusted relationships with customers and partners in the K-12 education market

Craft Winning Proposals:

Create compelling, customized bids and proposals that align with district priorities and funding streams.

Deliver Insightful Presentations:

Clearly articulate our value proposition through executive-level presentations that highlight how our AI, analytics, and technology solutions drive better outcomes.

Stay Ahead of the Curve:

Monitor industry trends, policy changes, and competitive movements within the K-12 education landscape to adapt and position effectively.

Collaborate Across Teams:

Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies and activities

Key Qualifications

Proven Success in K-12 Sales:

10 years of sales experience with a track record of opening new districts and states and exceeding targets in the K-12 education market.

Experience selling data, analytics, AI, or enterprise technology solutions into K12 Districts.

Strong Communication Skills:

Confident in presenting to senior education leaders and influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Collaborate Internally:

Work with solution engineers, delivery, success, marketing, and other teams to customize our offerings to meet the needs of clients.

Solution-Oriented Mindset:

Ability to tailor offerings to district needs, differentiating our services in a competitive landscape.

Agile & Accountable:

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and opportunities.

Willingness to Travel:

Up to 60%, including some overnight travel, as needed to support relationships and growth across regions.
