Senior Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding
New Jersey | Hybrid
$120,000 base salary + uncapped commission
An established international logistics provider is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to grow its U.S. customer portfolio across global freight forwarding, customs brokerage, compliance and domestic transportation.
The Role
- Identify and secure new business opportunities throughout the U.S.
- Develop relationships with senior supply chain decision-makers.
- Create tailored logistics solutions based on customer requirements.
- Manage pricing negotiations and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support new account implementation.
- Sales experience within freight forwarding or logistics.
- Proven success winning international freight customers.
- Knowledge of air freight, ocean freight and customs services.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Established industry relationships would be advantageous.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Uncapped commission structure
