Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LMFT, you will have a diverse array of responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments for couples and families, establishing treatment goals tailored to the unique needs of each family unit.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions alongside couples and family therapy, allowing for a holistic approach to treatment.

• Addressing various clinical issues, from alcohol and substance abuse to conflicts among family members, grief, and loss.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods to assist families in navigating job stress, medical issues, and communication difficulties.

• Creating and maintaining accurate patient records and treatment plans using our digital management systems.

• Participating in team meetings and clinical supervision sessions to ensure the highest standards of care and continuous professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will encompass a wide-range spectrum of patients, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will engage with families facing various challenges, including:

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Current, active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Virginia.
