Work Environment\n

This role is conducted remotely, allowing for flexibility to manage your schedule while actively engaging with students, parents, and educational staff. Although you will primarily work from home, you will be part of an integrated team dedicated to developing and implementing positive behavior support plans and crisis intervention strategies. Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and preparing detailed treatment plans for students in collaboration with educational teams, ensuring tailored support for each individual.

• Documenting all client interactions and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, including timely completion of necessary documentation.
\n
• Employing evidence-based screening tools as recommended by clinical colleagues to identify needs and develop effective interventions.
\n
• Collaborating with the school staff and families to create positive behavior support plans that address behavioral challenges and enhance students’ educational outcomes.
\n
• Actively participating in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring that all services meet the highest standards.
\n
• Building and maintaining professional relationships with relevant service systems and community partners to facilitate the seamless delivery of care and resources.
\n
• Advocating for students’ access to services and support, while helping to navigate the complexities of mental health and educational systems.
\n
• Engaging in continuous professional development through workshops, conferences, and other relevant trainings to enhance your skills and stay current with best practices.

• Promoting the mission and values of Retreat Behavioral Counseling Center within the community and among stakeholders.
\n
• Other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the facility’s goals and objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position is focused on working with students in school settings who may be facing various mental health challenges. Your expertise will be essential in helping them cope with issues related to emotional distress, behavioral problems, and social difficulties, thereby fostering a more conducive learning environment.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
\n
• A current and valid state license in good standing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
\n
• A minimum of two years of supervised clinical experience, showcasing your ability to provide professional mental health services.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in school-based mental health services, crisis intervention, or working with adolescents are highly preferred. Familiarity with developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or 504 plans is an asset.
