Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their unique social, emotional, and psychological needs, employing both standardized tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for both individual and group counseling, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an open and safe environment that promotes healing and empowerment.

• Advocate for clients’ rights and access to critical resources, including housing, healthcare, and social services, to support their overall well-being.

• Contribute to program evaluations and grant reporting to improve service delivery and secure funding for ongoing initiatives.

• Engage with community organizations and social service agencies to coordinate resources and enhance the support network for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals and families facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and social isolation. Our clinic serves a remarkably diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults, many of whom represent historically marginalized communities. Your work will not only provide therapeutic support but also foster empowerment and resilience among clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n
