Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, strengths, and goals, ensuring tailored interventions.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific client concerns through collaboration and input from clients themselves.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing effective modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Monitor client progress consistently, adjusting therapy methods and treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to provide holistic care that meets all aspects of a client's health.

• Advocate for your clients by ensuring they have access to necessary mental health resources and community support systems.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in accordance with state regulations and professional guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and families facing a range of mental health challenges such as mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with a focus on treating mood disorders is preferred.

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies, particularly CBT and DBT, is essential.

• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatric professionals is crucial for a comprehensive treatment approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
