Your typical workdays will generally follow a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ psychological well-being and determine optimal treatment paths.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect individual patient's diagnoses and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches to address diverse patient needs.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at promoting emotional health, personal development, and coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring an integrated approach to patient care that addresses all aspects of mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies to ensure patient safety and stabilization.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, available treatments, and community resources that can aid in their recovery journey.

• Maintain strict compliance with all legal and ethical standards through accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions.

• Participate in weekly case conferences and team meetings to share insights, strategies, and foster continuous professional development.

• Stay informed of the latest research, treatment methodologies, and ethical policies impacting mental health therapy.

The patients you will serve encompass a wide spectrum of mental health challenges—our practice focuses on individuals dealing with anxiety, depressive disorders, trauma, and personality issues. Each patient presents unique situations that require personalized care and interventions. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• A current and valid clinical license (LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT) in the state of Maryland is required.

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient setting, demonstrating proficiency in therapy practices.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatments, including trauma-informed care approaches.

• Demonstrable experience in conducting mental health evaluations, patient diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to connect with patients and foster trust in therapeutic relationships.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology for patient management and documentation.

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, upholding professional integrity and ethical practices.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
